Public Utilities Board Decides Not to Increase Electric Rates
At its meeting on April 27, the city of Alameda’s Public Utilities Board unanimously decided not to increase electric rates for all AMP customers. The board voted to maintain the existing rates for the upcoming fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2020.

COVID-19 UPDATE
Alameda Municipal Power is suspending service disconnections for non-payment, effective immediately. This suspension applies to residential and commercial customers and will remain in effect until further notice.

February 6, 2019 - AMP Warns Customers of Phone Scam
Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is warning customers of a phone scam. AMP has received reports that scammers are impersonating AMP employees and demanding immediate payment from customers. In addition, AMP received a report of a caller falsely claiming to be a PG&E employee who was collecting payments for AMP.
