The AMP Power Content Label

The Power Content Label is a quarterly projection intended to provide information about where Alameda's electric power comes from by fuel type. Information on Alameda's supply mix is shown on a percentage basis for each fuel type for the calendar year.

Starting in June 2010, we will prepare our Power Content Label only once a year.  This will show our actual supply mix breakdown by fuel type for the previous calendar year (no more quarterly reports). In new Power Content Label we will show the more meaningful CA total system mix, which will provide a more accurate and meaningful comparison of AMP's supply portfolio against the statewide power mix.

The source data for the Power Content Label comes from power generation metering equipment and software which measure and report the electric output from those generation sources comprising Alameda's power portfolio.
