Alameda Municipal Power has many convenient options for paying your bill. Please note that processing times vary. If your account is past due or in danger of disconnection, your safest option is to PAY IN PERSON.

eBill Notification Is Here!
You asked for it, and we heard you. You now can go totally paperless and manage your account with us online. eBill is here.
When you sign up for eBill, we will send an email to you each month letting you know your bill is ready for your review and payment. Then, simply log on to the AMP eCare system, and your statement will be there, with all of the information you need and none of the paper you don't want. Please note, our new eBill feature is part of our larger eCare system, which ensures that our services are available to you when you want them, while saving resources, time, and helping to keep electric rates low.
To take advantage of AMP's new eBill service, you first need to be an AMP eCare customer. Once you are enrolled in eCare, and we have provided a password to you, you then can sign up for eBill notification with the simple click of a button.

With Easy Pay, your payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank or financial institution. You will save the environment, time and money. This convenient and secure service is absolutely free.

Easy Pay Application - Pay Online

Pay your bill securely, using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or check, using our own online system, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To sign up you will need to provide the following information:- AMP account number
- meter number (can be found on your bill)
- mailing address
- zip code
- name (as it appears on the bill)
- email address (where we can send your temporary password)
Paying Online through your Financial Institution
Many banks and other financial institutions offer an online bill payment service. Instead of writing checks and buying stamps, you can pay virtually anyone, anytime, anywhere. Procedures and processing times vary so contact your bank for details. Depending on the financial institution, processing can take as long as 10 days. Please call Customer Service at the number below for more information.

Pay your bill over the phone using a check or credit/debit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Payments may take up to 2 business days to post to your account. Our free automated service is available 24/7. Please call 510-748-3900.

AMP Offices
Our offices are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm weekdays, and are located at:
2000 Grand Ave, Alameda (map and directions)We accept Visa, Mastercard, money order, cash, ATM cards or checks. (Checks are subject to verification). Payments received after 3:00 p.m. will be processed on the following business day.
Night drop payment
We also have a drop box for after hours payments. It is strongly recommended that you do NOT use the night drop for payments that are past due, as processing can take up to 2 business days.
