power outage caused by cable failure

ALAMEDA, Calif., July 3, 2007 — The failure of electrical distribution cable in the vicinity of Heritage Housing shortly before noon on Tuesday, July 3 affected Alameda Power & Telecom electric service to approximately 250 Bay Farm Island customers. The first report of the outage was 11:55 a.m. Power was restored to all customers by 1:16 p.m. A full investigation of the incident is pending.
